I know you’ve been waiting for this.
Grease Rag Ride & Wrench is excited to present our
3rd Annual Winter Maintenance Skill Share
Sunday, November 6, 12-3pm
YWCA classroom, 2121 East Lake St. (Bring photo ID)
There is no cost for this event
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Please RSVP to our facebook event so we know you’re coming.
Just a reminder that this skill share is open to WTF (women/ trans/ femme) cyclists only.
If you’ve been to our past winter skill shares, you know that they are fun, there are snacks, and that it is a super casual environment for you to ask questions and learn all about winter biking.
We are going to talk about how to maintain your machine so it does not fall apart despite being subjected to harsh salt and moisture, strategies for dressing warmly, we will have examples of tires and gear that we use, and we will be discussing safety and riding techniques.
If you’ve never biked in the winter, you should come. If you’ve biked before but want to see how others are doing it, or you’d like to share your experiences, you should come. This skill share will have something for everyone.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know by posting here or on facebook. We are happy to answer any and all questions you have!
